Make GA victorious in assembly polls: Tejashwi

Patna: Leader of the opposition in Bihar assembly, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, on Thursday cautioned the public against using the same brand of seed for the past 20 years while urging them to consider cultivating new crops in their fields. His statement was an indirect call to give the RJD-led Grand Alliance a chance in the upcoming state assembly elections.
Speaking to reporters in Siwan during his yatra, Tejashwi urged the people to decide on sowing "new seeds" in the upcoming elections for "bumper crop production." "Using the same seed brand for too long not only depletes soil quality but also negatively affects crop production," Tejashwi said, encouraging the people to support his alliance in the next elections to secure a better future for their children.
Tejashwi also criticised the central govt for allegedly neglecting Bihar in terms of fund allocation. He claimed that despite Bihar having several ministers in the Narendra Modi cabinet, the state had failed to receive significant financial support in the past decade. "For example, Giriraj Singh is the textiles minister, but none of the eight textile parks came to Bihar," he said.
The Opposition leader further accused the NDA of making false promises, particularly regarding the special category status for Bihar. "The NDA begins promising special category status before elections, but once they are over, they say it can't be granted," he said.
