Kriti Sanon calls Varun Dhawan 'Dhokebaaz' after he releases his song 'Khoobsurat' with Shraddha Kapoor: 'Stree no. 2 in ur life haan'

The buzz for 'Stree 2' is already building with the release of 'Khoobsurat,' a new track featuring Shraddha Kapoor alongside Varun Dhawan from 'Bhediya'. In a playful twist, Kriti Sanon, the lead in 'Bhediya', cheekily dubbed Varun a ‘Dhokebaaz’ and hinted that he has his own ‘Stree No. 2’ in his life!

Varun is set to make a special guest appearance in Stree 2, joining Shraddha Kapoor for the romantic track 'Khoobsurat.' This crossover moment blends the worlds of Stree and Bhediya.On Instagram, Varun humorously shared an edit depicting his playful revenge on Kriti Sanon, who had danced with Rajkummar Rao in the hit song 'Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe' from the original Stree (2018).

Kriti couldn’t help but laugh at Varun's edit, commenting, "Hahahhahaa.. see, that Haveli is where I got bitten! But I think you’ve forgotten who bit you on the bum!" She playfully teased Varun about the new song, adding, "Dhokebaaz! Stree no. 2 in your life, huh?"

'Khoobsurat' is a soulful romantic track composed by Sachin-Jigar, featuring vocals from both the composers and Vishal Mishra. Amitabh Bhattacharya penned the lyrics. The music video showcases Rajkummar Rao's Vicky and Varun Dhawan's Bhediya vying for Shraddha Kapoor's attention in a charming competition.

The cast of Stree 2 features Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles. Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande, the film, presented by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan, hits theaters on August 15, 2024. It will face competition from Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa at the box office.
In addition to Varun Dhawan, Tamannaah Bhatia makes a cameo as Shama in the electrifying dance number Aaj Ki Raat. The Stree 2 soundtrack also features another high-energy track, Aayi Nai, adding to the film's vibrant music album.
