It’s time! World of Goo 2 – the followup to the indie-hit classic World of Goo, is finally here – and ready for you to play RIGHT NOW!

Get it now on your Nintendo Switch, on the Epic Game Store, or direct from us at WorldOfGoo2.com – DRM-free for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

UPDATE: We can now confirm Nintendo Switch will also get a physical boxed version, releasing in October! Thanks to our friends at Fireshine Games for bringing World of Goo 2 into the physical world. We’ll post more info as we get it. In the meantime, here is a sneak peak of the box, above.

Soundtrack Preview: Years of Work

Here is another excerpt from one of the 47 tracks on the World of Goo 2 soundtrack!

This track, “Years of Work”, features the talents of 23 musicians from our community. For those curious about the process – we provided each musician with a click track, as well as some melody and harmony lines to play and/or improvise around. Each musician then recorded themselves at home, at school, etc. And then we edited it all together.

Only 4 days left until World of Goo 2 releases on August 2!

Soundtrack Preview: Sloppy Walker

We are proud to announce the World of Goo 2 Original Soundtrack!

Clocking in at over 47 tracks and nearly 2 hours of music, our own Kyle Gabler worked with new member of our team Jonny Trengrove (website), and over 50 musicians from the World of Goo community to bring you the beautiful, the haunting, the hilarious, the thrilling, World of Goo 2 Original Soundtrack.

It will be available for purchase on our very own website and at the Epic Store the same day the game launches, on August 2, 2024.

Above is an excerpt from one of the tracks called “Sloppy Walker”, with guest musician Aleš Mlakar… who also happens to be one of our programmers!

We’re only 6 Days away from the World of Goo 2 launch date. You can cut the tension with a knife over here.

Only 1 WEEK LEFT until World of Goo 2 Launches!

…so that means its time for another juicy trailer!

It’s been 15 years since we first explored the wonderful World of Goo, and a lot has changed since we’ve been gone. World of Goo 2 is bursting with undiscovered new species of Goo. A powerful company has re-branded as an environmentally friendly, sustainable, green, clean, Goo processing non-profit. Help them collect as much Goo as possible. But what do they really want? Explore a new story spanning hundreds of thousands of years and watch the world change.

World of Goo 2 will be available in English, French, German, Latin American Spanish, Castilian Spanish, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Ukrainian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Polish, and Russian when it launches on August 2, 2024.
