Bodrum Cruise Port and Marella Discovery Partner for a Powerful Season-Closing Social Responsibility Project In a dynamic collaboration, Bodrum Cruise Port and Marella Discovery came together to mark the end of the 2024 season with a meaningful social responsibility initiative, focused on environmental conservation and maritime education. High school students, alongside Marella Discovery’s captain and crew, joined forces for a beach cleanup at a nearby beach and took part in immersive tours of port operations, gaining valuable insights into maritime services and the cruise industry. The event kicked off with the beach cleanup led by the students, Bodrum Cruise Port team, and Marella Discovery crew, followed by an in-depth tour of the port, including customs areas, maritime operations, and a visit onboard the Marella Discovery. Additionally, Bodrum Sea Rescue provided an informative session on their sea ambulance, "Yaşam," and emergency response operations. This initiative highlights the importance of environmental stewardship and aims to educate future generations on the need to protect our oceans.
