GAYR team conducted a systematic review to evaluate the effectiveness of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). ✊ While tDCS was explored as a promising non-invasive treatment, the analysis of randomized controlled trials revealed no significant superiority over sham treatments, with some findings suggesting sham tDCS might be more effective. This research highlights the need for larger clinical trials to understand further the role of tDCS in managing OCD symptoms. ❤️ #GAYR #research #OCD
