Remember the maritime figures and enchanting sounds of the sea on the #VC24 stage? 🌊 At the closing ceremony of Velo-city 2024 in Ghent, Gdansk proudly took over the baton to host Velo-city 2025. The Gdańsk Archipelago of Culture Theatre performed a captivating show blending street theatre, stilt walking, juggling, pantomime, music and singing. 🎭 The ceremony celebrated Gdansk's rich maritime history and its port city heritage. Neptune, the legendary ruler of the seas, made a grand entrance on a tricycle, accompanied by mermaids, hippocampi on unicycles and maritime goddesses on stilts. 🔱🚲🧜♀️ Join us for #VC25 to experience the magic of #Gdansk!
