Today, we had the privilege of meeting with Mr. Radjesh Ori, Director of the Central Laboratory of Suriname's Bureau of Public Health, and his team. Our discussions focused on strengthening collaborations in analytical testing, food safety, and laboratory standards. We also got the opportunity to tour the labs which was spearheaded by Ms. Phyllis Pinas, Head of the Central Lab. This visit reinforced our commitment to advancing public health initiatives and fostering innovation across the region. Sangre Grande Regional Corporation entrepreneurs visit CARIRI's Food Processing Centre! 🍽 Building on the momentum of the 'Supermarket Requirement Requirements for MSMEs' session in November 2024 hosted by the Sangre Grande Regional Corporation, CARIRI is thrilled to host 20 of the participants for an exclusive tour of our state-of-the-art Food Processing Centre! On Friday 31st January 2025, Ms. Stacey Ramroop and Mr. Shawn Samlal of the Sangre Grande Regional Corporation accompanied the entrepreneurs to CARIRI's Centre for Enterprise Development, Freeport for a meet and greet with the Food technology staff, a walk-through of the facilities and a light demonstration of key equipment.
