"𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒑𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆." 🐘 This October, our NextGeners were treated to an inspiring session led by Ann-Marie Padgett, AmCham’s Infrastructure and Engineering Committee Co-Chair and #Bechtel Regional President of East Asia & Pacific. When Ann-Marie first stepped into a leadership role at Bechtel, she faced challenges in experience, seniority, and relevance. Yet, she soon realized her diverse background and deep cultural connection with Asia were invaluable assets. Through reflections on her academic and career journey, she encouraged our NextGeners cohort to see each setback as an opportunity for growth and self-discovery. She also emphasized the importance of knowing when to pivot—recognizing the right moments to push forward or take a new direction. Thank you, Ann-Marie, for such an impactful and motivating session with our NextGen leaders! ✨ 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐆𝐞𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦? 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐍𝐨𝐰 for our 2025 program.
