This year, Ubiqconn has organized a series of DEI activities, including cultural walking tours, cultural lectures, photography competition, and family day. Our recent DEI cultural lecture was a hit! Terry, our guest speaker, took us on an unforgettable adventure through diverse religious cultures around the world. ️ From climbing Taiwan's hundred peaks to walking the Camino de Santiago, Terry shared fascinating stories, stunning photos, and unique souvenirs that gave us a glimpse into cultures we might not otherwise encounter. Did you know about the indigenous people's animistic beliefs in Taiwan? Or that the Camino de Santiago is often called "the saddest road in the world"? Terry’s insights into these and other cultures were both enlightening and inspiring. We were especially moved by the concept of leaving a stone at the end of the Camino, symbolizing letting go of the past and embracing a new beginning. Our final DEI event is on this Saturday!
