What’s the real cost of a Webflow website for your business? 🤔 If you're a business owner sizing up Webflow as your site builder, let’s be clear — its pricing can feel a bit complex. But understanding these layers will help you make the right call and avoid any surprises down the line. 👇 Read the short and straightforward breakdown below or find the extensive guide here: https://lnkd.in/ggBRAhHs 📚 __ First off, you’ll need the Site Plans, because the Workspace one is more suitable for agencies and freelancers. There, you’ve got two main pricing categories to focus on: General and E-commerce. If you need a portfolio, blog, or business website, the right choice for you is the General pricing: 1️⃣ Starter Plan: Perfect for creating a basic site. It’s limited to two websites, Webflow subdomains only, and no custom domain. Ideal if you’re learning Webflow or building something small to get started. 2️⃣ Basic Plan: A great budget option for a no CMS website, best suited for simple small business sites with straightforward content where you can connect your own domain. 3️⃣ CMS Plan: If your site will be content-rich (blogs, news, regular updates) and need frequent updates, this plan is the one to consider. Offers a scalable CMS for managing up to 2,000 content pieces, a traffic capacity of up to 100k monthly visitors, and features like site search. 4️⃣ Business Plan: Growing businesses that rely heavily on their online presence will find this plan most valuable. You get up to 1M visitors monthly traffic, up to 10,000 CMS items, faster load times, and collaboration tools for multiple editors. 5️⃣ Enterprise Plan: Built for large corporations with complex, high-traffic sites, this plan offers tailored pricing, dedicated support, and advanced security. If you’re looking for flexibility, traffic scalability, and personalized support, this is the one. If you plan to launch an e-commerce site, Webflow’s E-commerce Plans are tailored explicitly with features like custom shopping carts, automated tax calculations, and multi-channel marketing integrations. 💸 Pricing here scales with your business: Standard one for new online stores or those with limited sales, Plus plan for growing e-commerce businesses ready to scale and the advanced one for high-traffic, high-revenue stores that need premium support. 💡 Key Takeaway: Webflow is built to scale with you. But make sure to dig into the specifics of each plan, look at your business needs closely, and remember—annual billing can save you around 15%. With Sommo you can begin your Webflow journey without any upfront costs by leveraging our account. This allows you to familiarize yourself with the platform and see your website come to life before committing to a paid plan. Once your website is ready for launch, Sommo can help you transition to your own paid plan. __ 🗯️ If you’re navigating this choice, drop a comment, let’s chat about it, and share experiences about Webflow.

Reflecting on the Google for Startups and holding that booklet in hand, standing alongside Andrii Bas 🇺🇦, Tetiana Kondratieva, and friends from Clearly, Dmytro Kovalenko and Dmytro Marakhovskyi — it’s one of those moments that reminds you why you push through the tough days. Seeing Clearly also receive the Ukraine Support Fund felt like everything came full circle. Sommo had the privilege of developing their app, and Natively powered their 4 mobile apps for therapists and clients on iOS and Android. It has been a unique collaboration, blending tech with real-world impact, and Dmytro Kovalenko, one of Clearly's founders, shared the journey with us on our podcast: https://lnkd.in/dyxU38He This moment reminds me of why we do what we do. Seeing both Natively and Clearly recognized by Google for Startups for their innovation and impact in Ukraine is something I’m deeply proud of. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where this shared journey takes us next. The power of community and innovation has never felt more real. Huge thanks to Google for Startups for believing in the potential of Ukrainian tech. 🇺🇦 #GoogleForStartups #Ukraine #TechForGood #Clearly #Natively #Sommo

Two weeks since Bubble conference, I have to be honest — I'm still processing the changes to the workflow editor. When there’s a big UI overhaul, I know it takes time to adjust. But at the same time, usability shouldn’t take a hit. Right now, the updates feel like a very early version. Navigating workflows has become trickier, and there’s a lot of empty space in the editor, which leaves me scratching my head a bit. Plus, the bugs are making it harder to design workflows smoothly — this definitely raises concerns about reliability, especially with larger projects. That being said, I’m confident these issues will get addressed. I really hope for a more polished solution moving forward, especially for something as crucial as the workflow editor. What I really like is the feature they teased: the ability to build more complex, branching workflows. That could be a real game changer, and I’m eager to dive into it when it’s ready. With these updates, I’d also love a more stable, reliable editor that can handle large-scale projects without hiccups. What are your favorite updates? Pls do not say the Bubble mobile app builder 😅 #BubbleCon2024 #WorkflowEditor #Bubble #BubbleDev

🚧 Natively 3.0: Bugs and What We're Doing About Them 🚧 No software update is without its bumps, and Natively 3.0 is no different. We've been working hard to address some of the key issues affecting your experience, and I wanted to share where we stand. 🔄 Android location settings: Unfortunately, Android doesn't always let us open the specific location settings for apps. Most of the time, it redirects to the general app settings instead, making it tricky to manage background location access. 📍 Bubble plugin issues: We’ve seen some plugins struggle to access critical device features like the camera, location, and microphone. We’re working closely with Bubble on this to smooth out the experience. 🎨 App appearance complaints: We’ve had feedback about the startup experience — the quick transitions between loading screen, launch screen, and background color are jarring. And when users pull to refresh, the background color sometimes flashes unexpectedly. Plus, the home bar auto-hides, which has frustrated some clients. ⌨️ Keyboard interactions: A real pain point has been the way the floating group with the bottom menu shifts when the keyboard appears. We fixed that, but now, the keyboard hides the input field. Balancing both issues at the same time isn't possible right now, so we’ll be introducing a customizable option in the dashboard soon — letting you decide which behavior works best for your app. We hear your feedback loud and clear. While these bugs can be frustrating, we’re committed to making Natively 3.0 smoother and more responsive with every update. Your app deserves the best, and we're making sure we get there. Thanks for sticking with us on this journey! 🙌 #AppDevelopment #Natively #MobileApps #BugFixes #ClientFeedback

So, the main event of the Bubble community, BubbleCon 2024, has wrapped up, and it's time to share some key takeaways. All the topics and speakers were highly relevant, from Bubble's flagship feature of 2024 — the native mobile app builder — to foundational discussions like transitioning from custom code development to Bubble. If I were to pick the headliners, I’d highlight four: 1️⃣ No-code + AI: At Sommo, we’ve long understood how powerful this pairing is. Bubble unveiled its AI assistant, capable of generating a functional app from a single prompt within minutes. As Andrew Vernon, Senior Bubble Developer, put it: "The idea is a single prompt can get you to, uh, actually like a very simple version of your app complete with workflows and data and all functions." Essentially, Bubble's AI feature tackles the "blank canvas problem" — the initial challenge that new users face when starting a Bubble project. Our latest video - https://lnkd.in/eC5J43PM is dedicated to these new AI features of Bubble. I highly recommend it to anyone with an app idea. 2️⃣ Bubble Workload, UX, and Performance: The pain every Bubble developer knows but hopes clients, investors, and founders never find out about. I’ve already written a few articles on Bubble Workload (e.g. https://lnkd.in/ei4Fma8m), and the topic remains quite hot. 3️⃣ Security & Flusk Acquisition: I think Bubble made a strategic move here, and I hope it’s not the last. This acquisition brings powerful security auditing tools directly to the Bubble ecosystem, addressing a critical need for app developers. 4️⃣ Bubble’s Native Mobile App Builder: The star of 2024, announced by Bubble back in October 2023. Several talks and panels were dedicated to showcasing it. Highly relevant, expected, and interesting. Utilizing React Native, the mobile builder ensures high-quality performance, native UX, and access to device features. A separate visual editor is designed specifically for crafting native mobile interfaces, with features like safe area handling and gesture-based interactions. Native apps seamlessly integrate with existing Bubble web apps, sharing the same database and backend logic for simplified development and maintenance. Bubble also aims to streamline the app publishing process, allowing direct deployment to both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store from within the platform. And the most intriguing part: a strong emphasis on offline functionality, with native support for offline databases, data synchronization, and essential features for reliable performance even without a constant internet connection. So, Bubble has pretty much decided my plans for the weekend — I’ll definitely be trying out their Native Mobile App Builder. Has anyone already given it a shot? Any thoughts, opinions, or advice? I’ll be sure to share my experiences early next week.

Bubble just dropped their Mobile App Builder at Bubble Con (invite-only for now)! You can now build and launch mobile apps directly to iOS and Android from Bubble. But here’s the thing: Bubble’s builder is exactly that — a builder. Meaning you’re starting from scratch, investing time in building your mobile app, and tweaking every little detail along the way. Meanwhile, with Natively, you’re not building an app from the ground up. Instead, you’re converting your existing web app (even your Bubble app) into a fully functional native mobile app in about an hour. No need to start over—just wrap what you’ve already created and launch it to the app stores. 🚀 Both tools have their place, but if you’re looking for speed and simplicity, especially when you’ve already built your web app, Natively is the way to go. Why rebuild when you can convert? 😉 #AppDevelopment #BubbleCon #MobileApps #Natively #Bubble #AppBuilder #MobileAppDevelopment

We’ve all been there – life gets busy, priorities shift, and sometimes your mobile app projects need a breather. That’s why in Natively 3.0, we’ve introduced the Pause Subscription feature. ⏸️💰 With this new feature, you can pause your subscription for up to 3 months and resume it exactly when you're ready to dive back in. No stress, no pressure – just flexibility that works for you. We understand your mobile app journey shouldn't be held back by rigid timelines. You can wait on design tweaks, funding, or just need a break – this is about putting you in control of your development process, while keeping things simple and manageable. Our team knows that building great apps doesn’t always follow a straight line. This is just another way we’re making sure you’ve got the freedom and support to build on your terms. #Natively #AppDevelopment #MobileAppDevelopment #Subscription #MobileApps

Here’s one more reason why Natively 3.0 is the game-changer in mobile app development: Internal URLs. This feature gives you the power to open web pages within your app’s browser. Imagine this: your users complete a payment on a Stripe page in Google Chrome or Safari, and with no extra clicks, they're seamlessly brought back to your app, right where they left off. No more losing users after external links – it's all about creating a smooth, uninterrupted journey. It keeps users in your app and means more engagement, fewer drop-offs, and a more polished, professional experience. Best for completing payments, viewing content, confirming transactions and more – you're in control of the entire flow. At Natively, we're always thinking about how your mobile app can deliver more – more ease, more seamlessness, more magic for your users. This is another step towards that goal. 🔥 #Natively #MobileApp #UserExperience #AppDev
