👉Play for Equality Project Wrap-Up We are delighted to celebrate the successful completion of Klitschko Foundation's & DFB-Stiftungen "Play for Equality" project! ℹ️Over the course of this transformative initiative, we collaborated with 80 passionate teachers and engaged 100 children to promote equality in sports. Through 8 days of specialized training and 5 days of practical sessions, participants explored eight different sports, making physical education classes more engaging and enjoyable. Thanks to the support of 13 dedicated partners, this project went beyond traditional sports training. Together, we worked to break down gender stereotypes, fostering a more inclusive sports culture. As a result, thousands of children will now approach sports with an open mind, free from biases. Young Leaders of Change: Why Our Future is in the Hands of Teenagers Modern teenagers are more than just observers. They are becoming a driving force for change, actively shaping the society in which they will live. Despite stereotypes about youth apathy, their participation in civic and political life is continuously growing. Research by Ipsos shows that young people around the world view the future with more optimism and hope than older generations. This proves that the younger generation is ready to take responsibility for the future of their country and the world. Teenagers adapt quickly to new conditions and technologies and are better than adults at recognizing misinformation, thinking critically, and striving to change their environment. That’s why it is essential to provide young people with opportunities to implement their ideas and projects. A project like Debate Camp, implemented with grant support from the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House, helps teenagers develop critical thinking, public speaking, and argumentation skills. 💬 As Angelina Osadcha, head of the Klitschko Foundation, notes, “Teens see their future and have the passion to change it for the better. They are motivated by their future, and we as adults must provide them with the tools to help in this.” 💬 This generation feels the impact of global crises, war, and other challenges. However, as Yuriy Veselskyi, a program specialist at the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House, points out, supporting civic initiatives for youth development lays a strong foundation for long-term democratic growth. Every project of our foundation that involves youth not only develops their skills but also changes society. Teens are not just the future; they are an active part of the present, already influencing the development of communities and laying the foundation for a strong and democratic country. At the Klitschko Foundation, our slogan is “Fight for your dream,” and we live by it in every one of our projects! Excited to introduce you to a project that will teach children not just to fight for their dreams, but to do it in a reasoned, ecological way and for the welfare of the country! Debate Camp – is an educational project aimed at popularizing democratic culture, dialogue, debating skills, human rights values, and active civic engagement among youth. The project is implemented with the grant support of the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House. 20 talented teenagers will go to a five-day debate camp in the western part of Ukraine, where they will develop critical thinking, argumentation and debating skills. During the camp, participants will: Engage in debates and masterclasses led by top experts. Attend lectures on democracy, debating, argumentation, and self-presentation. Create and present their own community-based projects. The camp will culminate in a debate tournament with representatives from the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House, the Debate Federation of Ukraine, the Embassy of Denmark, and the media. 💡 What participants will gain: Enhanced critical thinking, argumentation, and debating skills. A deeper understanding of democratic culture and citizenship. Hands-on experience in teamwork and project implementation with the support of mentors. 📈Impact on the community: Participants will apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills to local projects. By integrating debate culture into extracurricular school activities, we’ll help promote democratic values within communities. 💪 First! Yes! The first outdoor boxing venue in Ukraine has opened at the Brovary Higher School of Physical Education. This is the first space of its kind in Ukraine, that we created with Dr. Wladimir Klitschko and Klitschko Foundation. The 280 m² venue includes six covered mini-rings, a training area, a crossfit zone, and a multifunctional field for basketball and football. But the story of this project is not simple. I remember how in November 2021 we discussed our plans after our trip to Mariupol, where we aimed to create a large boxing center. We signed a memorandum with WBC and met with the local community, dreaming of a center that would become the birthplace of new champions. But instead, the city became a battlefield. Now this city is occupied and destroyed. Yet, despite everything, we continue to create. Here, at this venue in Brovary, our future champions will grow, dreams will be born, and a new generation of Ukrainians will form, for whom there are no obstacles. This venue is a testament that circumstances will not break our faith in a better future. We are confident that our project in Mariupol will also be realized because this is not just a sports center — it’s our dream, and we will fight for it. After all, this is what the foundation has been doing for 21 years—fighting for your dreams, right? Thank you to everyone who supports us on this journey. "Everything I know about morality and the obligations of men, I owe it to football (soccer)". This statement by the French philosopher was shared with us by Nico Kempf, Deputy Managing Director of DFB-Stiftungen, who met with the participants of the Play for Equality project. We also agree with Nico's words that sport is a highly creative field where everyone can express themselves. This statement is directly related to the goal of the Play for Equality project. Thanks to the grant support of the DFB-Stiftungen , we were able to develop a special training program for 80 physical education teachers, bring them together in one place, and create a community of people who will transform physical education in Ukrainian schools. We thank our partners, the DFB-Stiftungen, as well as Tobias Wrzesinski and Nico Kempf, for their support of the project and the enjoyable communication. Their involvement truly helps us to plan and implement new, exciting initiatives to educate the future generation of Ukrainians.

✅ 2 modern ultrasound diagnostic devices for maternity and children's hospitals to make little Ukrainians healthier. The Klitschko Foundation, together with Siemens Healthineers, has donated ultrasound machines to the Kyiv City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 1 and the Kyiv Perinatal Centre for more accurate and faster diagnosis of neonatal and cardiac diseases. ℹ️ The Acuson Maple and Acuson Sequoia devices, worth €140,000, will improve medical services and relieve pressure on other medical facilities. As a result, young patients will be able to receive care more quickly. 💬 "Helping children's hospitals and maternity homes is an important part of our foundation's work. Because caring for children is truly caring for our future. We are glad that our partners understand this as well and are always interested in the needs of young Ukrainians, especially now, during the war," said Angelina Osadcha, Director of the Klitschko Foundation.

The morning alarm and a massive Russian missile attack that lasted almost eight hours did not stop us from delivering the promised (and expected) aid to the Ohmadyt Children's Hospital. This time, we delivered 22 tonnes of construction materials that will be used to rebuild one of the buildings damaged during the shelling on 8 July. We are grateful to Hanseatic Help e.V. for stepping up and supporting young Ukrainians. The construction materials delivered to Ohmadyt today are only the first batch of aid. The Klitschko Foundation and its partners are putting a lot of effort into restoring the children's hospital as soon as possible.
