At #RCM74 in Congo Brazzaville, our NCD Alliance East Africa President, Joseph Mucumbitsi the need for urgent action on several fronts: improving diabetes care and access to insulin, boosting local production of essential medicines, and building climate-resilient health systems. With NCDs becoming the leading cause of mortality in Sub-Saharan Africa, we urge Member States to intensify efforts in prevention, treatment, and policy implementation. We also stressed the importance of integrating NCD care into universal health coverage, ensuring no one is left behind as we work towards 2025 and 2030 global targets. #HealthForAll #NCDs World Health Organization
