'The focus for the company right now is on New Business/ GTM..' 💡 I'm hearing that literally every-day at the moment.. I totally get it.. Businesses need more deals.. It's tough out there! It takes a tremendous amount of input to generate new opportunities and CAC is increasing (Customer Acquisition Costs).. 💻 Personalised outbound from the #marketing team (Multiple channels).. 📞 A multi-stage cadence delivered by a skilled #SDR.. 📃 A discovery call, demo and contract presentation from the #AE.. I'm simplifying this massively, but it's a LOT! All that effort BUT.. The deal is DONE! 🍾🥳.. Now.. Without turning this into a novel, I shall revert back to the theme of 'The Boys' to illustrate the importance of Customer Success post contract signing.. All that up-front work.. All that cost.. All that energy. You then handover the customer to an under-resourced CS team.. #recruitment #saas
