That marks the end of our 🍃Sustainable Travel Conference 2025🍃, where we explored how the industry can work collaboratively together to grow travel and tourism to be a force for good. 🎬We kicked off the day with a welcome from our moderator Susan Deer, and the morning included a panel discussion from Carol Rose, Tasha Hayes, Rochelle Turner, Hedda Felin and Jessica Matthias discussing considerations in the sustainable travel, including overtourism, water scarcity, workforce practices and community development. 🌍A highlight from the day was the session from Mato Frankovic, who shared insights into the work being done in Dubrovnik to encourage tourism and manage the flow of visitors. 💬 We also had the opportunity to hear a session from easyJet holidays on harmonising sustainable practices through the implementation of an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, along with a case study from Byway on promoting under-tourism and the move toward non-hotspot destinations. 🙏A huge thank you to our event partners AVIAREPS Group, Greek National Tourism Organisation, Intertek Cristal, Preverisk Group, Sabre Corporation and to our media partner TTG Media. 👏A massive thanks to everybody who attended the conference and a special thanks to all of our speakers: - Susan Deer, ABTA - Matt Callaghan, easyJet holidays - Paul Conroy, Byway - Mireia Delgado Perala, FRSPH, Preverisk - Hedda Felin, Hurtigruten - Mato Frankovic, Mayor of Dubrovnik - Tasha Hayes, Contiki - Anthony Levy, Circularity First - Jessica Matthias, Sabre - Kasia Morgan, Exodus Travels - Tudor Morgan, HX Hurtigruten Expeditions - Carol Rose, ABTA - Thabs Royds, World Travel & Tourism Council - Eleni Skarveli, Greek National Tourism Organisation - Daniel Turner, Animondial - Rochelle Turner, Intrepid - Yvan Valasse, Intertek Cristal
