We absolutely love to see our colleagues succeeding, we are so happy to announce that Lorrainne Bowley Assoc CIPD (Convenience Controller, Nestle Confectionery) has successfully completed the Level 5 CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management, through Recruitment Apprenticeship Services. This is a significant achievement and a testament to her dedication, hard work and commitment to professional growth.
Lorraine started her apprenticeship in February 2023 and after completing several modules in subjects such as organisational performance, employment law and talent management, she now holds Associate Membership with the CIPD, a mark of professionalism that is recognised worldwide and will undoubtedly contribute to her continued success.
Reflecting on her apprenticeship experience,
Lorraine said “returning to studying after nearly 20 years was a little daunting at first, but that’s why studying as part of an apprenticeship really worked for me. It allowed me to blend my theoretical study with practical application in the workplace. The support from my mentor, the tutors, and the friends I made through the online monthly study sessions has been invaluable. The course provided a real opportunity to learn about HR practice across different organisations and commercial sectors, within the UK. The knowledge I now have about the impact of HR legislation and practice, is useful for the daily decisions I make regarding executing our plans in a people centric way. I know there’s an apprenticeship out there for everyone, and I would highly recommend taking the time to self-develop, confident in the knowledge that you will emerge with the most up to date and relevant thinking in today’s ever changing commercial environment.”
