Autism and Sensory Sensitivity: Understanding and Supporting Sensory Needs Children on the autism spectrum often experience heightened or diminished sensory sensitivities, which can affect their everyday interactions, behaviours, and well-being. This webinar aims to provide insight into how sensory processing differences manifest in autistic individuals and offer practical strategies to support them in managing sensory sensitivities. Participants will learn how to create sensory-friendly environments and develop a deeper understanding of the sensory challenges that many autistic individuals face.

#Neurodiversity touches all of us, but for many families, especially those with children on the #autism spectrum, the challenges can feel overwhelming. The path to understanding, diagnosis, and support can be difficult, and often, families find themselves navigating this journey alone. This calls for a #change. A change in how we support families and children on the spectrum—and that change starts with conversations.
