Established in 1989 as an insulation converter. AIM has a large range of cutting and bonding machinery. The company produces a wide variety of bespoke insulation products to customer specification and also manufactures a range of fire, thermal and acoustic insulation products primarily, but not exclusively, for the construction industry. AIM provides a first class service, supplying quality products on a rapid response basis. A range of dedicated hauliers and carriers ensure prompt deliveries throughout the UK and Ireland.

Premier Inn - Cribbs Causeway, Bristol In collaboration with our trusted partners at Carter Lauren Construction Ltd, HCL played a pivotal role in the successful rebuild of the Premier Inn Causeway after it was devastated by a fire back in 2019. HCL was appointed to deliver the striking external façade on a full design, supply, and install basis. Our work included the installation of Weinerberger Brickslips, 8mm Fibre Cement Cladding, Support Framing, various feature PPC pods/flashings, and Fire Barriers, contributing to the stunning new look of the building. Given the tight schedule, HCL's involvement was critical to the timely and successful delivery of the façade. By working closely with the talented Axiom Architects LLP and a proactive design manager in Robert Downs, we were able to design a façade with minimal sequenced interfaces, allowing trades to progress quickly and efficiently. Considering the construction of the structure and the layout of the external works, it was essential to design a robust and accommodating support structure that would allow for movement within the primary structure along with any differential movement between the structure and the external Facade. This was essential to ensure long-term functionality and performance of the building.
