About us

CXO Portals and Connectr.io created ai:NOW to support the enterprise adoption of ai. Enterprise Artificial Intelligence business cases are growing exponentially from Financial Services, Logistics & Supply Chain, Retail, Healthcare, etc. To assist with the implementation and understanding of AI within your organisation CXO Portals has launched ai:NOW, a community of Senior Leaders and Solution Providers. AI, when implemented, impacts and delivers business value and we have all seen the use of gen AI across multiple industries. With over 50% of companies planning to incorporate AI technologies in 2023/24 the growth will continue to rise. For most enterprises, true innovation comes not from experimentation or pilots but from industrialising AI at scale. Moving from one-off pilots to enterprise-wide adoption carries risks and challenges and many organisations lack clarity, the right infrastructure, processes, and skills in place to introduce actionable AI solutions. ai:NOW will provide support for individuals and organisations when understanding and implementing AI practically. This is not the future of AI. This is ai:NOW.

Can #AI help saving lives? It‘s a thought-provoking question, as chatGPT would put it, and one that our HSE team together with my team are determined to find out. Truth be told, working for an energy company in the field is still a somewhat #dangerous job. High voltage, high heights and hazardous tasks are part of their daily reality. #Safety is our utmost priority. So we asked ourselves: How can AI help us to get a better understanding of the risk level of certain tasks. For that, we‘re looking at the incident reports of the last few years. But here’s the challenge: a lot of the (interesting) data isn’t actually generated during the process. Think about weather conditions like windspeed, fog, or cold temperatures, all of which might increase risk of an incident. Or think about time of the day. Perhaps risks are higher in the evening when it starts getting dark? Or maybe it’s the combination of both that increases risks. All of these patterns have previously been hidden from us because the reports didn’t provide them in a proper way. So we‘re using AI to browse the mostly text-based reports to identify the relevant metrics, augment the data with additional information, and ultimately find patterns that can improve safety. We‘re still in the midst of the project but we‘re hopeful that this will become a tremendous support for all the people who are working hard every day to ensure a stable #energy supply in Europe. What do you think - what are other ways that AI can improve workplace safety?

AI advisor | Keynote speaker | Author | 27 years’ data & AI experience

I met Dr. Julia Zukrigl a few years ago when searching for an expert on #DataStorytelling. And she is an expert! Being a behavioral scientist, Julia knows how our brain processes information, how it makes decisions, and how it deals with complexity. She brought this super power to multiple data storytelling training sessions I have organized at my prior company. In less than two weeks, I will have the privilege to share a data story and how it was developed together with Julia at the Machine Learning Week Europe. Join us in Munich on Tuesday, November 19. With Julia’s super power, there is more coming from our collaboration in 2025. Stay tuned!

🚀 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐈’𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥: 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 & 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 At our event, "AI-Marketing Revolution: Strategic Transformation for 2025," co-hosted with HubSpot, experts from HubSpot, LinkedIn, Tyrolit Group and OMMAX shared their insights on implementing #AI effectively. As one of the panelists, I was happy to exchange ideas with other thought leaders and experts and to engage in lively discussions about AI and its integration into everyday business life. Here are my main takeaways from the event: 🌟 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 1. High Costs & Regulatory Hurdles: Budget limits and compliance (like GDPR) slow AI adoption. 2. Skill Gaps: AI’s rapid pace outstrips talent availability, often leading to security issues. 3. Misaligned Expectations and Data Quality: AI needs strong data foundations and cross-departmental collaboration. 🌟 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 1. Start Small, Show Results: Initial use cases, like sales automation, can demonstrate early wins. 2. Build Buy-In Through Pilot Program: Early successes build confidence and drive acceptance. 3. Education and Integration with Existing Workflows: From personalized marketing insights to streamlined automation, AI tools should integrate smoothly, enhancing existing processes without adding complexity. 4. Human-Centered Approach: AI should support teams rather than replace them. A big thank you to Julia Pilkes, Till Hoffmann, Christoph Waltl, and Dr. Stefan Sambol for their valuable insights!

Head of Global Marketing @ WithSecure | SaaS Marketing | Leadership | Customer Experience

I first caught a glimpse of AgentForce AI's potential at Dreamforce earlier this year. Today's Salesforce Helsinki Innovation Day provided a much-needed practical deep dive into its functionalities in marketing, customer success, and sales. It was inspiring to see how AI can empower us, not replace us. By automating routine tasks and providing valuable insights, AI can help us focus on what truly matters: building meaningful relationships and driving business growth, leaving those tedious tasks in past. One recommendation stuck in my mind the most; Just start. Don't let fear hold you back. Start small, experiment, and learn as you go. #Salesforce #AI #AgentForce #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #CustomerExperience #FutureOfWork
