Denis lockwood 👏 👏 Balfour Beatty plc's observation winner Denis used his birds-eye position as a crane operator for Ainscough Crane Hire to spot a length of lead flashing that had come loose on a neighbouring build to the job he was doing. By speaking up on this observation the neighbouring building were informed and the footpath closed, keeping the public safe. Ainscough removes bridge at Liverpool dock for repair. Ainscough Crane Hire recently worked with its client AmcoGiffen to remove a landmark 20,000kg bridge at a historic Liverpool dock ahead of essential repair work. Working on a project on behalf of national waterways charity Canal & River Trust., Ainscough deployed its Liebherr LTM 1300 crane to remove a lift bridge at Brunswick Dock on the River Mersey enabling AmcoGiffen to install new bearings and reseal the lifting hydraulic rams.
