About us
AJM Healthcare are a long-established provider of a wide range of mobility and community equipment solutions. Since 1983, when we were formed as AJ Engineering, we have provided independent advice and high-quality services to a wide range of individuals and public bodies. AJ Engineering changed its name to AJ Mobility over 20 years ago, and in 2013 we decided to further develop the name to reflect our wider range of services and changed to AJM Healthcare. We provide wheelchair, mobility, procurement, equipment and other services to the NHS and local authority partners across the UK, from Devon in the South west to Hull, serving over 50,000 individual customers each year. Our mission is to consistently provide a superior, quality-driven and continuously improving service, focused on our service users, empowering our teams to provide innovative, comprehensive and tailored solutions through compassion and respect for all. AJM volunteers, including Guy Eatherington, Director of Customer Relations, were at Horse Guards Parade this morning to loan wheelchairs, helping our veterans commemorate the gallantry of their comrades. Tomorrow AJM Healthcare will be supporting the Remembrance parade in London as they did in 2023. AJM volunteers will be adjusting wheelchairs and providing blankets to ex-servicemen and women to ensure their comfort. After Remembrance weekend, all the wheelchairs will go towards bolstering public wheelchair provision, at no additional cost to the NHS. Alan Hadfield, NHS Wheelchair Service Operations Manager, said: “As an ex-serviceman, it is so heartwarming to see this act of kindness from AJM.

Hertfordshire school pupils assisted AJM Healthcare staff creating spoke guards for wheelchairs for veterans at this weekend's Remembrance events in London. AJM will loan about 110 wheelchairs from a Gazebo on Horse Guards Parade on Sunday alongside providing blankets. As well as 20 wheelchairs for the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.
