🔦 Teammate Spotlight - Jacob Shapland-Hill 🔦 Introducing this month's teammate spotlight, Jacob Shapland-Hill, Parts Advisor! 💙🧡 Jacob became part of Alliance Automotive Group just over a year ago in August 2023, taking on the role of Parts Advisor at one of our CV Components branches. In the past 12 months, Jacob has successfully completed his apprenticeship in Customer Service Practitioner Level 2, achieving a Distinction grade! Alongside his apprenticeship, Jacob ensured he supported the branch and fulfilled his role as Parts Advisor. Jacob said: "The apprenticeship was extremely educational and informative and has helped me massively in my job role. It was amazing to have such great support from the team, one I’m now proudly part of." His manager, Dan Atkins also said, “Alongside completing his apprenticeship, Jacob quickly became a fundamental part of the team. He has always been willing to help the depot when needed and going that extra mile for the customers too. He has a bright future ahead of him, and this is just the start of what could be a fantastic career for him.” ⭐

Today we're excited to be hosting our first NAPA Auto Parts Branch Conference and Awards Dinner at the East Midlands Conference Centre! We're looking forward to a day full of collaboration, recognition, and celebration. ⭐

The Workshop Pro Team has achieved an incredible feat by conquering the National Three Peaks Challenge! ⛰️ Last weekend, the team successfully trekked the three peaks of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon, all in support of raising crucial funds for the Ben Automotive Industry Charity. 💛 The team covered a total walking distance of 23 miles and ascended a total of 3,064 metres. Ian Burt, Workshop Pro UK and ROI Sales Manager said: “The team put in huge efforts throughout the challenge, battling tough conditions on all three mountains. Snow, sleet, rain and high winds on Ben Nevis made it even more challenging to descend in the dark under torchlight. 🌧️❄️ Challenging weather conditions made the ascent of Scafell Pike difficult, with high winds and low visibility. Snowdon was even more daunting, with torrential rain, gale-force winds, and poor visibility testing the physical and mental strength of the team. It was a true test of determination to conquer the last of the three mountains. ⛰️ However, the team's spirits remained high throughout, with one goal in mind - to complete the challenge in aid of such a great cause. I am hugely proud of the entire team. A special thank you to Lee Dunkley, Technical Specialist, who was our driver for the entire challenge and drove over 1,100 miles across the country. 🌟 Congratulations to our August Value Champion Award winners! 🌟 ➡️ Russell Ryder, Business Development Manager: Russel was nominated for the Performance Award by Marc Derbyshire, Area Sales Manager. Marc said: "We received some great feedback from a customer saying that they wanted to give a special mention and a thank you to Russell Ryder, who time and time again goes above and beyond. They went on to say that Russell never fails to answer their calls, and once again helped them to find a part they needed to free up space in the garage." ➡️ Stacey Forden, Warehouse Operative: Stacey was nominated for the Performance Award by Carlo Fracassi, Area Manager. Carlo said: "Nothing is ever too much trouble for Stacey, she helps in dispatching and driving, as well as her own role in the warehouse. She does everything with enthusiasm and the commitment to offer the customer a great service." ➡️ Debbie Gill, Driver: Debbie was nominated for the Performance Award by Derek Meakins, Area Manager. Derek said: "Debbie has gone above and beyond in supporting the branch. She has helped in the warehouse and goods-in departments, as well as helping to train new employees." ➡️ Aaron King, Area Manager: Aaron was nominated for the Performance Award by Lewis Docherty, Assistant Branch Manager. Lewis said "Aaron works so hard for us all as an Area Manager. He strives to help his team and nothing is too much of a problem." A huge well done to Russell, Stacey, Aaron and Debbie.🌟🏆

🔦 Teammate Spotlight - Debbie Summers 🔦 Introducing this month's teammate spotlight, Debbie Summers, NAPA Racing UK Brand Manager! 💙💛 Debbie became part of Alliance Automotive Group in November 2021, taking on the role of NAPA Marketing Manager. Her passion for the newly established NAPA Racing UK Team soon led to her advancement as the NAPA Racing UK Brand Manager. We asked Debbie for one of her highlights since working at Alliance Automotive Group, and she said: "Seeing our cars lining up on the grid in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and finishing with a full NAPA podium at Croft in 2023 was so special, which also lead to the team finishing our second season on top as champions - the cherry on the cake!" In her spare time, Debbie competes as a racing driver in Hill Climbing and has done for the past 15 years. 💙🏎️
