🌱 Harnessing Stress for a Healthier Mindset 🌱 Did you know? Not all stress is bad! Positive stress, or eustress, can motivate us, keep us focused, and even make us feel excited. But when stress becomes constant, it can turn into chronic stress — leaving us drained and distressed. 😖 The key difference? It’s not just the stressor itself, but how we react to it that shapes its impact on our mental and physical health over time. By learning to recognise when we need a break and hit that "off switch," we can build resilience and make stress work for us rather than against us. 🧘♂️💪 Take a moment to breathe, unwind, and recharge. Your future self will thank you! ✨ #MentalHealthMatters #StressAwarenessWeek #Resilience #StressManagement #MindfulLiving

A global non-governmental organisation promoting natural & sustainable approaches to healthcare worldwide.
About us
ANH-Intl is a global non-governmental organisation promoting natural and sustainable approaches to health and environmental care. Through our work, with its key focus on Europe and the USA (www.anh-usa.org), we help to shape an appropriate scientific and regulatory framework that encourages increased adoption of natural and sustainable approaches to healthcare. Our mission, by working with a diverse cross-section of society, including health professionals, companies, consumers and political representatives, is to help reduce the burden of chronic, degenerative diseases that lead to a unnecessary loss of quality of life and threaten to cripple healthcare systems and economies. We also focus on evaluating the health and environmental impact of food production systems, in the process identifying those that are most sustainable yet are capable of satisfying the needs of our planet’s growing population. As a means of raising awareness of the issues, we engage in education, legal support and advocacy to help improve consumer engagement and freedom of choice as well as removing barriers to trade in products and services integral to natural and sustainable healthcare. The organisation was founded in 2002 by Robert Verkerk PhD, an internationally acclaimed expert in sustainability, who has headed the organisation since its start. Through its work particularly in Europe and the US, ANH-Intl works to accomplish its diverse mission through its unique application of ‘good science’ and good law’. We're still donation funded after nearly 19 years. It's our supporters generosity that allows us to carry on our work protecting all of our rights to natural and sustainable healthcare. We welcome donations of all sizes www.anhinternational.org/donate. Thank you

Jonathan Emord, ANH-USA General Counsel, remembers two brilliant, tireless advocates for individual liberty. Together, they fought for our rights against government overreach, winning historic battles against the FDA and sparked a nutrition revolution. Their passing is a profound loss for the cause of liberty and innovation. 🕊️ #DurkPearson #SandyShaw #InMemoriamT https://lnkd.in/ekZUyDWm

Taking in the beauty of autumn with my dog, I'm struck by nature's endless cycles - breakdown and renewal. It reminds me of our current political landscape, which feels a bit chaotic and entropic right now, doesn't it? But just like nature, we're part of the system, and we have a role in shaping it. By speaking up for what we want, we set our intentions. Let's stay grounded, keep going, and trust that things will come together in the end. #AutumnReflections #NatureAndPolitics #CyclesOfChange #StayGrounded #SpeakUp #SocialChange #FallVibes #IntentionSetting #TrustTheProcess #NatureWisdom

🚨 ANH-USA files lawsuit to protect homeopathy! 🚨 FDA guidance threatens to hold homeopathic remedies to the same standards as conventional drugs, despite homeopathy’s 80+ year history of safe, distinct regulation under the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. This move could restrict access to a therapy that has helped millions heal naturally. The ANH-USA lawsuit challenges this regulatory overreach, aiming to preserve homeopathy's accessibility for those who rely on it and those who might benefit in the future. 💪🌿 #StandWithHomeopathy #HealthFreedom #NaturalHealth #homeopathy @anhusa https://lnkd.in/emH8_9fJ

The WHO’s proposed pandemic treaty aims to create a “new global system” for access to vaccines, treatments, and more—but is centralising health control in the hands of unelected officials truly the answer? 🤔 Rob Verkerk challenges the idea that such an approach will solve global health challenges. Finding shifting power away from individuals and communities could create more harm than good.💡 #HealthFreedom #PandemicPreparedness #naturalhealth https://lnkd.in/durFJ9Jj

What if ADHD is an evolutionary advantage? One that gave humans the skills needed to thrive and succeed in a hostile environment? That it's modern environments that are now the problem not the person given a label of ADHD. For nearly 50 years pioneering charity HACSG helped people understand how modern diets turned an evolutionary advantage into a 21st century problem and the changes they could make to 'turn the volume down'. https://lnkd.in/eknus3qN

How's your teenager's mental health? More and more young people are struggling to cope with modern life as it far outstrips our evolutionary heritage in terms of the 'food' we eat, the pressure to conform to social media 'norms' fuelled by AI and loss of tolerance due to the toxic soup we now inhabit. The good news is there's plenty that be done to improve your teen's mental health. https://lnkd.in/ei9k8XFE #worldmentalhealthday #mentalhealth #teenagers

Long-term sickness rates have increased rapidly since 2020 in many countries around the globe including the UK. Rob Verkerk PhD takes a dive into the data to find out what might be driving the increase. Comment SICK LEAVE to join the conversation. #sickness #longtermsickness #sickleave #naturalhealth

We're being pushed to convert to electric everything, including cars, to 'reduce emissions'. What's little discussed openly, is the impact on the environment of the often highly toxic drive to mine more and more materials for the batteries needed to power the electric revolution and push for 'net zero. Comment LITHIUM to get the real story!

The terms used to bestow positive meaning to older women such as crone and hag, have become some of the most derogatory references one can make to women of a certain age. But did you know that in ancient times the word crone, described a woman who had gained a special revered status for wisdom-attained and her presence and leadership were treasured at tribal ceremonies. The word hag, is having less of a comeback, but derives from hagio, which means holy. #menopause #womenshealth #menopauseawareness #menopauseday
