Sky Betting and Gaming use cookies without consent ⁉ --- Sky Bet has faced criticism from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for unlawfully processing users' data through advertising cookies without obtaining consent. According to the ICO, Sky Bet was collecting personal information and sharing it with advertising technology companies immediately upon users accessing the website, before giving them the option to accept or reject the cookies. This practice enabled the platform to deliver personalised advertising to users without their knowledge or approval, in violation of data protection laws, the ICO reported.
