We’re also cruelty-free and vegan-friendly and we are about the environment so we take sustainability seriously as much as we can. SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION From reducing our overall packaging to investing in post-consumer recycled materials, we put sustainability at the core of everything we do. This is important to us as it reduces the ecological footprint of all the stages in the product's life-cycle. It helps both the producer and the consumer reduce their environmental impact that promotes green living that help to conserve energy and also to prevent air, water and noise pollution. They also prove to be good for the environment and also prevent human health from deterioration. WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT? We passionately create well-considered products that improve skin through a careful balance of plant botanicals with essential vitamins, which is a direct result of real people practicing a functional approach to self-care.

I read a post last week that said ‘how to’ funding workshops are a waste of time… ...well you should tell that to the six beauty startup founders I had the pleasure of supporting for Black Girl Fest Studios x Glossier, Inc. Grant Programme. We spent two hours delving deep into the ways they can fund their business - dilutive, non-dilutive, the pros, the cons, finding angels, running a slick process etc. we broke it ALL down. It’s easy to assume this work isn’t important, especially if you come with privilege and/or feel a part of this industry (that btw historically excludes minority women).   The founders left the workshop with… 💫 A broad, foundational knowledge of all funding routes (not just the glamourised ones) 💫 Practical tools, tips and resources to deepen their knowledge and avoid common pitfalls 💫 A clear idea of how they’d like to move forwards … most importantly they had a safe space to ask the vulnerable questions, where nothing was off limits. To hear the founders left the workshop feeling CONFIDENT, INSPIRED and MOTIVATED about something as mystical as startup funding tells me everything I need to know. Knowledge really is power. We should not forget that. 📈 Shoutout the brilliant founders on this programme - Damilola A. of AMI London, Danielle Igor of Igor Hair, Karen Olla of Oré mi Studios, Phoebe Ellis and Leah Ellis of Caribé and Natel A. of Télle Moi. 🖤 And the fantastic people behind it all Nicole Krystal Crentsil, Vanessa Maria, Rochelle Clarke from BGF, Roya Shariat and Sarah Faulder from Glossier. #BGFxGlossier #BlackBeautyProgrammeUK

🙌🏿Black History Month at PwC UK was #Epic!🙌🏿 The Black Network put on a phenomenal month of black excellence showcasing everything from authors, artists, entrepreneurs, the tastiest of cuisines to great spaces for debate and Allie-ship. 🫡The theme for the month was #SalutingOurSisters, and boy (I mean, Gurrlll) was that achieved.🫡 It all came together with a finale event which allowed us to open our doors to the public and welcome more friendly faces and vivacious voices. Some of the talent you see in the video includes: 🎨Artist andre parchment and his beautiful daughter reciting her poem. (Their artwork can also be seen in the video). 📖A Meet the Author session with authors Maggie Semple, OBE, FCGI and Jane Oremosu talking about their 2nd book (My Little Black Book). 🧴Skincare extraordinaire and entrepreneur Damilola A. showcased her stunning products (ÀMI London). 🖌️Illustrator Alice Nyong was in the building showcasing her talent. Got me a souvenir. 👗Fisayo Longe, the founder of fashion house Kai Collective gave an unfiltered, unapologetic, transparent and inspiring fireside chat. We also had a panel hosted and chaired by our very own PwC sisters Charlie Louise Akintilo, 🚀 Yasmin Benjamin MSc, Dione Vengai and Roli Esisi. My video doesn’t do it justice, as most times I was so caught up in the atmosphere that I wasn’t Gen Z enough to remember to document. But here’s to all the amazing strong black women I know. Your strength is unparalleled, your beauty unmatched and your potential unlimited! 🖤💛💚♥️ I SALUTE YOU! #BlackHistory #BlackPresent #BlackFuture Michelle|Nadia|Natasha|Courtney|Cherelle|Dan|Dolores|Latiya|Paulette|Nadine|Regina|Elizabeth|
