Ginger, Babs, Bunty, Molly, Frizzle, and Mac can now enjoy a life of freedom at a sanctuary 🐔 These hens came from different welfare standards, some from an RSPCA Assured­ farm, others from colony cages. Yet their suffering tells the same story. Welfare labels like “RSPCA Assured­” are designed to sound 'reassuring', but for these hens, the scheme meant nothing but exploitation, until their rescue. It toured the city as our art installation with Speciesism WTF shocked those entering Frieze London in Regent’s Park. 🙌 From the doorstep of Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to the heart of Parliament Square, our message was impossible to ignore! 👀 Approximately 27,000 people witnessed our ad van call for a world free from animal exploitation. 🚨 We finally heard from the RSPCA! It came from Chris Sherwood directly. The response is constructive, but it only underscores the scheme's deeper flaws and the need for them to take a stronger stance and stop supporting exploitation. The RSPCA needs to work towards phasing out animal agriculture entirely, not putting their stamp of approval on it. 👀 Unannounced visits should happen without our investigations prompting them, but even then, staff would be on their best behaviour when the inspectors are watching. The scheme does not work. 💔 Worst of all, RSPCA Assured­ still promotes the torturous gassing of pigs in slaughterhouses. This is not good enough. Imagine yourself in their position: trapped, terrified, and longing for freedom. It’s time to recognise them for who they truly are, sentient individuals with an inherent right to respect and dignity. BREAKING NEWS! 🚨 The RSPCA has finally released its findings from an independent review of 200 farms—but their response is incredibly disingenuous. Instead of addressing crucial concerns, they’ve criticised our work while still standing by the RSPCA Assured­ scheme. Chris Sherwood’s reply to us is not only condescending but it is also extremely worrying. The animals trapped on RSPCA Assured farms deserve so much more! How is pushing a pig into a gas chamber or macerating day-old ‘broiler’ chicks treating them with “respect and kindness”!? We’re not backing down. We will continue to expose the scheme's failures and demand change.

🚨 BIG NEWS! 🚨 We've taken a bold step and rescued 6 amazing hens who now get to experience the freedom they deserve at a sanctuary! 🐔✨ After escaping the horrible conditions on farms, they’ll finally feel joy, happiness, and a natural life. Each of these beauties—Ginger, Babs, Bunty, Molly, Frizzle, and Mac— is unique and so special. 🐓 Three hens came from an RSPCA Assured farm, and the other three from 'enriched' colony cages. Even though these farms had different welfare standards, their suffering and poor health was exactly the same. 🐔 Watching them see straw and grass for the first time was beyond heartwarming. Now they’re safe and can roam free, living the life they were meant to live.
