We're super excited to announce that our first-of-its-kind bar and restaurant, The Mezz, has been shortlisted for the Hospitality & Premium Award with TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Awards 2024! 🥂 Recognised not just for design, but innovation, sustainability and that real 'wow' factor, we couldn't be prouder to have worked with 20.20 Limited to bring this vision to life.

The AO Arena team put the EXTRA in EXTRAVAGANZA! 💚🥳🍃 Over the weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting the first large-scale C&E event our wonderful venue has ever seen. Flipping our space from a conference for 15,000 guests to a VIP party turned concert, back to a conference again is no easy feat! It's testament to the skills, hard work and dedication of our amazing team and supplier network. What a way to showcase Manchester to the international community. We certainly showed them some great Northern hospitality, that's for sure!

If I make a post about it, you know it's been BIG! 7 days, 70 hours, many (many) steps, not a lot of sleep, but by far the most rewarding event I've ever worked on. Still on a high and still can't quite believe we pulled that off. The first large scale C&E event at the arena and it was one of a kind. From a conference to a VIP party and a concert, back to a conference again, in just a few hours. Give me some time to recover (about a year) and I'll happily do it again. Feeling very lucky to work with such incredible people who are pretty damn good at what they do, what a team! Scott Robson, MSc thank you so much for taking me on this wild ride with you. Too many names to mention, the Operations team, our wonderful Event Technicians, the entire F&B department, Engineers, IT, security, medics, cleaners, all the contractors and suppliers (and boy were there many), and of course Chelsea Mcgee, Nikkola Longbotham and your whole team. If we've worked together over the last 9 months, THANK YOU 💚

It’s a very exciting time for the venue and for the city.”
