He plays a huge part in our pizza operations – assessing potential new pizzaioli, training them, and helping to develop new dishes, all alongside ensuring our shop counters are always full of delicious pizza’s! 𝗘𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵, 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳!....   “…I’m Enrico, a Senior Pizza Chef here in Aromi. I started out working in our Bene’t Street café, but now I work in Fitzroy Street and at HQ too. As you would expect, my day-to-day duties revolve around pizza! – preparing the dough, monitoring the fermentation process, stretching bases and prepping toppings – making sure everything meets Aromi’s high standards! Even with more than 2 decades experience, I have still learnt a lot at Aromi, and I enjoy passing my knowledge on to others. My goal is to keep growing professionally while balancing my career and being a husband and a father, and I know that Aromi will help me to accomplish this! In my free time, I love being with my family – my wife, our daughter and our dog, Moon. Aromi is a great place to work if you want a job where you can grow and work in a great team. Aromi & Bene't Street - Step back in time! As well as housing Cambridge’s Best Italian Restaurant (voted for by 📰 Cambridge News readers!), 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲’𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 in Cambridge is steeped in history! It was named after Saint Benedict and it features Cambridge’s oldest standing building- 𝗦𝘁. 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲’𝘁’𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝟬 - 𝟭𝟬𝟱𝟬 𝗔𝗗!! As well as that, the discovery of DNA was announced on this street in 1953! 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲!! 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲!! 😁 Aromi opened its doors to 𝟭 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲’𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟯 - our story was featured in several local and international publications- including UK’s leading travel magazine Conde Nest, BBC Good Food magazine, and even a Sicilian newspaper wanted to document the Aromi story! 📖 Across 2021/2022, our flagship ☕ café closed its doors and reopened with a new look following a refurb, providing more seating and a beautiful new counter- our talented Pizzaiolo can now be seen carrying out their skills whilst our happy customers queue up!
