If that wasn’t enough, we also had a mentoring mixer, a (re)launch of our WIT network, a workshop focused on uplifting each other AND IWD themed gym classes! We know a lot of wonderful female identifying people at ASOS, just like Daisy 🌼 She started 9 years ago in our Customer Care team whilst studying. She's held a few roles since before landing her current role as a Delivery Solutions Manager📦 It's been a journey for Daisy to be the confident, mixed race, bisexual woman she is today. Her team joke that she is "most confident person at ASOS", but that hasn't been something that she's done on her own. The Supply Chain industry is typically male dominated, but lucky for her she's had a lot of role models that have shown her how to use her voice. From a strong former female manager to another colleague from the LGBTQIA+ community who is also authentically themselves at work, she began to grow in confidence and realise there really is nothing better than showing up to work and being yourself. She's even joined our Interview Committee at ASOS, which looks to showcase more diverse representation at interviews to really start making change in the business. She's also fiercely competitive and always strives to be number 1. That MIGHT come from her love for all things sports, especially women's football which her twin sister played a lot growing up. Her advice? "Be the best person you can be and you realise that everyone is cheering you on, even if they're not saying it to your face." Applications are now open for round two of ScaleUP are now open! 🔈 The incubator programme for global majority-owned brands operated by the (Fashion) Minority Report, in partnership with ASOS. ScaleUP is designed to help bridge the gap between the fashion industry and global majority-owned brands, who continue to face barriers in accessing the fashion market and scaling up their business operations. Taking learnings from the inaugural programme, this year every brand selected as a finalist will be supported in scaling up their business through masterclasses in marketing, finance and wholesale. The overall winning brand will receive an investment of £20,000 and their collection sold on ASOS.com, with a second place winner receiving £10,000 to scale up their brand. Daniel Peters, founder of the (Fashion) Minority Report said: “The success of our inaugural programme was truly inspiring and demonstrated the immense talent within global majority-owned fashion brands.
