✏️ Department Deep Dive ✏️ Today, we’re pulling back the curtain and ­doing a deep dive into our very own design studio. Meet Adam. Adam is one of our Graphic Designers and has been with Astley for the past 9 years. Adam plays a key role in bringing brands to life through the development of extensive signage manuals. From bespoke projects to new store rollouts, Adam ensures that every branded asset not only looks great but also serves its functionality. Working in partnership with our client’s brand standards, Adam creates detailed and thorough visual packs to help support complex signage rollouts for a handful of clients, predominantly in the FMCG sector. Did you know our Gateshead facility was custom-built to accommodate large scale fabrication and is fully backed by our BSEN 1090 certification?   Astley was one of the first UK signmakers to recognise the importance of becoming BS EN 1090 for steel fabrication, and we still remain one of only a few that is certified to carry out this type of work in-house.   Now a legal requirement in the UK, BS EN 1090 is required for large structural steel work, and in sign making this could mean large building signage, built-up architectural lettering, freestanding totems and any other built-up brand messaging.
