Hello Builders, We're excited to announce the next AWS Brighton User Group meetup - we'll be running one of the first community-led 'AWS Jam in a Jar'. AWS Jams are a gamified learning experience in which you can get hands-on with AWS and solve technical challenges to win points and, ultimately, prizes! So, grab a laptop and come down to join us. There will be the usual free beer and pizza courtesy of our sponsor Logicata, and your user group leaders will be on hand to facilitate and help you if you get stuck. The team at Silicon Brighton will also be providing their usual amazing support for this event. Full details on the meetup page - RSVP now to secure your place! https://lnkd.in/euZN9r_D #aws #awscommunity #awsusergroups #awsjam

Thanks to all the builders that made it to the 5th Meetup of the AWS Brighton User Group last night! Train strikes and sunny weather kept a few builders away. And Jonathan Goodall and Karl Robinson had to pull together a last minute agenda due to illness and injury, but the show must go on as they say, and it did! Thanks as always to the Silicon Brighton team for their support. Check out the YouTube link for the recording of our live stream for content completely different to what was billed! https://lnkd.in/etgBWNzN #awsusergroups #awsusergroup #awscommunity #awscommunitybuilders

Only a Bank Holiday weekend stands between us and the next meetup of the AWS Brighton User Group next Tuesday evening (7th May) at 6pm. We've got Mark Hemsley, Head of Architecture at Rail Delivery Group, coming to share his experience of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in an Enterprise - the journey from lift & shift to cloud native. Followed by something a little different - in place of our usual quiz, we have a preview of the Brighton Fringe Show 'He/He/He' which is a mix of drag, standup and theatre! A first for an AWS User Group perhaps? Certainly not to be missed... We'll have the usual free beer & pizza courtesy of our sponsor Logicata. And don't forget our new location - Werks Group on Middle Street. We'll be live streaming thanks to our partnership with Silicon Brighton here: https://lnkd.in/etgBWNzN See you there? #awscommunity #awsusergroups #awsusergroup

Hello Builders! Less than 2 weeks until the next meetup of the AWS Brighton User Group. We have Mark Hemsley from Rail Delivery Group coming to speak about Migration and Modernisation on AWS. And, for something a little different, through the Silicon Brighton relationship with Brighton Fringe, we have Indy Nile giving a preview of his drag/standup/theatre show He/He/He! We're not sure if this is a first for an AWS User Group, but it's definitely unusual and not to be missed. So if you have not yet RSVP'd, head on over to the Meetup page to sign up. We look forward to seeing you soon. https://lnkd.in/eHjXpRER #awsusergroup #awsusergroups #brightonandhovebusiness
