The findings from this year’s Future Space census from Tritax Symmetry and Savills show that the availability of power is replacing planning as the number one concern for developers and investors. We are proud to announce that the Tritax Symmetry BasePower Energy Centre in Biggleswade has been shortlisted for an industry award!   BasePower created an energy strategy to solve the development challenges of poor grid reliability and limited further grid capacity. The resulting energy centre was designed, procured and managed by BasePower, and is powered by Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG. It provides the park's occupiers including Co-op, Solina, Noatum and Bond with a continuous and robust power supply (99.9% uptime), and a future pathway to net-zero carbon. The results are announced on 12 June.
