Yesterday saw the sun setting on our 2024 racing season here at Bath Racecourse Looking back on the season, we’re filled with gratitude and pride for all the incredible moments we shared. We started the season by delivering Bath’s richest ever raceday before hosting some fantastic themed racedays including Rum & Reggae night, our Cider Racenight and Country & Western night to name just a few. We have had three winners this season subsequently go on to win at Group level, hosted events for members & sponsors and innovated parts of our catering offering. It truly has been a memorable season that has been a pleasure to be a part of 🏇🏻 We have had incredible support from a wide range of sponsors who have been a phenomenal to work with over the season. Far too many to individually thank in this post but every one of our 134 races were sponsored by a total of 41 different companies and individuals, in addition to having 33 organisations taking an advertising presence to showcase their brands and services 📈 As ever, I am blessed to work alongside a team who are committed to exceeding customer expectations and striving for improvements in every aspect of our operation. The hard work and determination to overcome some of the challenges faced has been commendable and very much a team effort 👏🏻 Thank you to everyone-our amazing guests, dedicated teams and racing community-who made this season one for the record books. Last week we held our inaugural Bath Annual Members yard visit to the stables of local trainer, NEIL MULHOLLAND RACING LIMITED It was fantastic to visit such a great facility and give our members a behind the scene view of what goes into training racehorses. Our Annual Membership offering allows access to all of our racing fixtures, along with days out at other racecourses, a designated lounge, complimentary Racecards, free guest passes and access to discounts at selected partners such as Ludo Sports Bar. Exciting news from Bath Racecourse!   We’re thrilled to announce a new collaboration with Thatchers Cider Company Ltd for our highly anticipated Cider Racenight on Saturday 17th August.   This partnership will bring an elevated experience to the event, with Thatchers showcasing their iconic VAT12 tasting truck, offering a selection of their best-selling ciders, including Thatchers Gold, Haze, and a variety of fruit flavours. The first 500 attendees to enjoy a pint will also receive a limited-edition Thatchers festival bucket hat.   "The Cider Racenight looks set to be a brilliant event with the best of Somerset coming together; from the racers to The Wurzels – so it makes perfect sense that attendees should be able to enjoy Somerset’s leading cider too,” said Martin Thatcher, Managing Director and forth generation cider maker at Thatchers Cider. “We’re excited to bring our ever-popular VAT 12 bar, pouring our best-selling ciders for racegoers to enjoy.
