Four London workplaces include an eight floor fit-out for BP at Canary Wharf. Designed with an emphasis on inclusivity and neurodiversity, the project was also driven by a Sustainability Charter with 45 environmental and social targets. In Paddington Basin, a new headquarters for Capital Group is designed to further collaboration and connectedness. The entry features two co-living projects including the 50-storey Enclave Croydon, which has a material palette inspired by the area’s post-war architectural heritage. Adaptations of four existing London homes demonstrate the practice’s promotion of natural materials and commitment to sustainability. At Dulwich House, the whole house renovation drove down energy use with the introduction of extensive thermal linings, an air source heat pump and a bio-ethanol stove. Biophilia and collaboration drove the design of Barn X, a rural workplace for Microsoft Rare Games. In London, it is refurbishing 2 Triton Square for Santander and retrofitting a 1970s building as a West End headquarters for a global business. The practice aims to create spaces which are ‘considerate, memorable and support people’s physical and emotional wellbeing’. At The London Institute for Healthcare Engineering, the design draws inspiration from the external palette with warm tonal colours and natural textures. The smooth and rounded interior finishes of The Wave at the University of Sheffield are influenced by the site’s previous use as a reservoir. Francis House is an adaptive re-use of a historic London warehouse for communications firm Edelman. Twelve different zones incorporate a variety of seating typologies for 700 employees, with an entire floor for nurturing client relations. Two other London projects include the offices of First Love Foundation, a charity working to combat poverty. Four London office projects include Fivefields, a calming and welcoming environment for charities and social organisations in Victoria. The interior includes areas for different sensory needs and is driven by circular economy principles. Barr Gazetas has also completed 30 Broadwick Street, in collaboration with concept architects Studio Stockholm.
