It's hard to believe that the Professional Paraplanner Awards 2025 are not too far away - especially as it doesn't feel very long ago that so many of us spent a wonderful day together in London last year. We still cannot believe that we won 'Best Training Resource for Paraplanners' for the fourth year in a row - we are so proud and always grateful💕 Each year, this wonderful day provides the perfect time and space to celebrate some of the fantastic efforts from individuals and businesses, within the paraplanning community. Are you using the updated tax tables?🤔 We’ve spoken to quite a few of you this last few weeks, that have been using the old version, prior to changes coming into the exams from 30th January 2025. These changes came about because of the Autumn Budget 2024, and are now being tested. Stuff like CGT rates, Stamp Duty etc - all key for areas you could be tested on! And it’s not just the tax tables that have changed, it’s your materials too. This time in two weeks, the BTS team will be knee deep in the April R06 case studies - and we cannot wait! Are you sitting R06 in April? If so, please, please make sure you spend lots of time preparing for the exam, leaving it until the day the case studies are released is asking for trouble😮 How can you prep? Use our study guide to build up your technique and become much more familiar for what the exam is going to throw at you. Practise, practise, practise in getting to know case studies inside out like they are your family. And, practise, practise, practise exam standard questions and your answering technique.
