It's our last Friday round up of Q1 🙌 Here's what we've been up to...   🎯 This week, the Glasgow PR team swapped the office for some friendly competition at Flight Club. 🏆 Thanks to self-appointed social king Ben Archibald for organising.   🎶 Kat Wallace spent an evening at Ye Cronies, one of Glasgow's longest-running musical dinner concert societies. Thanks to Steven Purcell for the invite; it was a real treat, with brilliant company.    🎂 Hannah Fisher turns the big 3-0! 🥳 Happy birthday Hannah and well done to Katie Campbell for baking the most incredible cake (no, we are not hiring her out for her baking skills).   💼 Politicos Jen and Paul attended Holyrood Communications' Connections event, which looked ahead to the 2026 Scottish election.    🍕 The Glasgow Studio couldn't wait until Friday this week and enjoyed a stacked pizza Wednesday.    🗣️ Our Aberdeen execs attended an Aberdeen Young Professionals (AYP) event featuring Kyle Murtagh, author of Confidence By Design, who delivered an insightful presentation on public speaking.   🦷 Our Manchester team hosted an exclusive influencer event with Ruh Dental x Haus of Sculpt. Guests enjoyed an energising reformer Pilates class followed by luxe treatments from Rüh Dental's world-class clinicians.

Our team have been bringing the magic this week: 📊 We had the pleasure of hosting Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes MSP for a fascinating boardroom dinner at The Bonham Hotel, Edinburgh on Wednesday evening. The dinner brought together business leaders for a candid conversation about the conditions for business in Scotland today. It was a fantastic evening and it was great to hear the Deputy First Minister's views on Scotland's economic priorities, the current business climate and the role of innovation in driving sustainable growth. 👡Our PR icons Katie Morrison, Iona Stevenson and Kat Wallace supported Silverburn with the opening of its brand new Zara store. The global fashion brand has moved into the former Debenhams unit, located at the heart of the centre and spanning a huge 50,000 sq ft. 🛎Social queen Ruthie Bissland was at Crossbasket Castle Hotel, Spa & Restaurant capturing content for the launch of the new luxury hotel, which opens today. Brb, just making our booking.  💷The Manchester team headed down to London for a Q&A with the Financial Times' new Capital Funds Reporter, which was organised by Roxhill Media. 📦 Our whisky experts Mikaela McPartlin, Charlene Sweeney and Roanna Katz visited Broxburn Bottlers Ltd in West Lothian to learn more about the latest techniques in how whisky is bottled, labelled and packaged.  🏙Director Stewart Argo was at an Institute of Directors (IoD) business breakfast on Tuesday hearing from the Chief Executive of the City of Edinburgh Council, Paul Lawrence, about the big challenges and opportunities facing the city specifically but also the wider public sector. 🧠Our digital content director Jess Ingham toured Scotland to share her insights and knowledge with all of our offices on digital PR and how we can activate it for clients. 🎨 Team Edinburgh got creative with some pottery painting for their team social – we can't wait to see the final results next week.

  • At BIG Partnership, we know that championing gender equality is more than a one-day event - it’s an ongoing journey. We're committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where women thrive, voices are heard and opportunities are open to all.   We spoke to two of our board directors, Kat Wallace and Gayle Grant, about the women who have inspired them, the advice they’d give their younger selves and how BIG Partnership is championing gender equality. As we reflect on International Women’s Day and the conversations it sparked, let's go beyond celebration - let’s reflect, support and take action. Because when we uplift women, we build a stronger, more equal future for everyone. 💜 https://bit.ly/4hodK26   What’s one action you’re taking to support gender equality?

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible women in our team who are making a difference by championing and supporting others. We spoke to Charlene Sweeney, our media relations director, who not only excels in her role but also dedicates her time as a trustee of Smart Works Scotland, a fantastic charity that helps women enter the workplace.
