  • "Working with Birmingham Royal Ballet has opened lots of doors, allowing me to build amazing connections with industry professionals.” We've been working with Birmingham City University to provide opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in the arts. As part of this, BCU Photography student Hannah Beveridge was invited to capture our dancers on stage. Check out the stunning photos she took of Cinderella! We've loved this collaboration, and look forward to seeing where Hannah's journey takes her next. 1. Sofia Liñares and Max Maslen 2. Sofia Liñares and Max Maslen 3. Eilis Small 4. Sofia Liñares 5. • The Royal Ballet Sinfonia recently visited the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire to take part in a side-by-side rehearsal with 60 of their students. The rehearsal comprised of core ballet repertoire, including Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty, with students offered professional guidance and expert advice. Ahead of the visit Principal Cello at Royal Ballet Sinfonia, António Novias, delivered a workshop, preparing students for the rehearsal. António reflected: “It is wonderful to meet such committed and talented students who are so eager to learn and make music in an orchestral setting.” We’re thrilled that this relationship between the Royal Ballet Sinfonia and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire continues to grow!
