Yesterday marked a milestone as we celebrated the culmination of our inaugural #AcceleratingFemTech programme! The day featured a packed agenda with insights and reflections from key opinion leaders in #WomensHealth, as well as valuable networking opportunities.
Kicking off with a warm welcome from our Commercial Director, Anna King, attendees also heard a special speech from Viscount Camrose Jonathan Berry, the Minister for Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
Our 12 #FemTech innovators then took on a competitive pitching session, evaluated by our esteemed panel of judges: DigitalHealth.London's Programme Director Sara Nelson, Candesic's FemTech Expert Suzanne Coles, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists | RCOG's CEO Kate Lancaster, and NHS England's National #Digital Midwife Lead for Maternity Jules Gudgeon.
A massive congratulations to Bloomful, Plexāā, and IBEX Innovations for winning 'Most Engaging Pitch,' 'Biggest Potential to be the Most Revolutionary for Women's Health in the UK,' and 'Greatest Potential Benefit to the #NHS/Industry' respectively!

The session was skillfully chaired by our Operations Director, Mark Edginton.
The last panel delved into bringing women's #health #innovation to life. Chaired by our Medical Director Natasha Curran, the session featured valuable sharing from South West London Integrated Care System's Chair Michael Bell and Deputy Director of Innovation and Transformation Jayne Thorpe, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's Consultant Urogynaecologist and Uro-neurologist Sohier Elneil, and #DHLAccelerator alumnus getUBetter's Founder and CEO Carey McClellan.
