Located on the borders of Hampshire, Berkshire, and Surrey, Blackbushe Airport is perfectly located for quick access both to central London as well as to the Thames Valley, and south of England. There are a whole host of aviation activities at Blackbushe. If you are a business jet user, using Blackbushe is quicker, more convenient, and more cost-effective than all of the other London airports. If you are looking to learn to fly, we have flying schools for Mircolight, Fixed Wing, and Helictopters onsite. If you're an aircraft owner or a flying group, our landing fees and parking cards are very competitive, and the facilities at Blackbushe are superb.

Last night we turned our new lights on to 100% brightness and had them photometrically tested as part of our quality assurance and calibration process. They usually won't be this bright for pilots - our FISOs will adjust them depending on the lighting conditions. We're nearly ready to start using them to welcome flights! The last two weeks have seen a huge amount of work going on. The replacement lighting system has had all of the ducting installed as well as lighting bases and pits. We’re very nearly ready to start installing the light fittings themselves. We’ve also used the runway closure to make repairs to the runway and some taxiway areas whilst aircraft don’t need to move around. We’ve also taken the opportunity to replace the runway end fence which was starting to fall apart, the new fence looks much smarter and has refreshed signage. Thanks to our friends CAMGO Electrical Ltd and Gatwick Construction Ltd for the lighting install, Third Generation Services Ltd for the runway repairs and Safesite Fencing Ltd for the new fence!
