🏆Im Rahmen des AniX Award wurde auch der Trickstar Business vergeben, der Preis für das beste innovative und zukunftsweisende Geschäftsmodell im Animationsbereich in Höhe von 7.500 Euro, gestiftet vom Verband Region Stuttgart. Er ging in diesem Jahr an Black Goblin von Ana Betancourt (UK). Die Jury begründete ihre Entscheidung wie folgt: 📈„Mit BLACK GOBLINs innovativer Software THOL konzentriert sich das Unternehmen darauf, die Art und Weise zu verändern, wie Kreative mit Sound arbeiten. Mit Hilfe der Technologie des maschinellen Lernens in Echtzeit ermöglicht die Plattform Kreativen, hochwertige, anpassbare Soundeffekte direkt auf visuellen Inhalten zu erzeugen. This year, it was awarded to BLACK GOBLIN by Ana Betancourt (UK). The jury stated: “With BLACK GOBLIN’s cutting-edge software THOL, the company focuses on transforming the way creatives work with sound. With the help of machine learning technology in real-time, the platform empowers creatives to generate high-quality, customizable sound effects directly onto visual content. To come up with such an idea you must know and understand postproduction needs in detail. With the invention of THOL they created an incredibly useful tool for the sound postproduction which combines efficiency at quality needs at its very best. Today, we wanted to briefly look back on earlier this month when we had the opportunity to travel to London as part of the AI Accelerator. Our CEO, Ana, pitched to a room full of investors and fellow entrepreneurs. As this fantastic Accelerator is concluding at the end of March, we also want to encourage startups working with AI to apply for the next cohort. The support and resources provided have been incredibly valuable, and the work done by Katy Guthrie and Fabrizio Formichella has truly made a huge difference for Black Goblin. Equally important, the genuine friendships and camaraderie built with the other founders have been some of the best and most authentic experiences we have been fortunate to encounter in our journey as a tech startup. We will be participating in the AI Accelerator showcase scheduled for the 20th of March and will be sharing more about it in the coming weeks. Move Summit has now ended and it was a really nice experience. We got to meet some interesting people and catch up with some old friends. It is so great to see how much this gathering has grown and how it attracts talent from people all over Scotland. It was such an honour to be invited and have conversations about the animation industry and where it currently is with people from different studios, researchers and freelancers. We are back in Edinburgh from Berlin and our team is really excited to take part in the Move Summit, Scotland's Animation Gathering from the 22nd to the 23rd of February [Today and tomorrow Friday].
