We are Network Rail Link Up approved suppliers and are able to supply PTS qualified operators for railway projects. Our fleet includes over 300 machines, all under three years old and ranging from 1 ton to 40 ton excavators, Rubber Ducks, LGP Dump trucks and Backhoe loaders. Our dedicated LGP excavator division has 20 excavators ranging from 8 ton to 20 ton. Our fleet of machines can be supplied with a varied range of attachments including hydraulic breakers, Engcon Tilt Rotators, log and selector grabs, clamshell buckets and compactor plates.

These machines join our fleet of Komatsu Tracked machines and complete the brand being on all sizes of excavator from 2.6Tonne to 52 Tonnes in our fleet. From our first Komatsu Excavator in 2019 to this (with more arriving shortly) is a testament to the reliability of the product and the support from Alan Greenshields and the team at Marubeni-Komatsu Scotland . 📡🛰️📡Sitech Open Day 📡🛰️📡 Our long term GPS Partner SITECH UK and Ireland are using our depot to showcase the benefits of using Trimble Inc. technology on our customers sites We have supplied our Blackwood Training Hitachi Construction Machinery ZX130-7 Excavator with Earthworks Guidance and our Marubeni-Komatsu Ltd D61PX-24 with Earthworks machine control for a live demo to the attendees. We had hoped to do this on the training area but the good Scottish weather put a halt to this ☔️ Our customers that have used Trimble onsite already, have said that they experience ⭐️ 100% Increased productivity ⭐️ 43% savings in fuel through doing the job once with proper guidance ⭐️ Increased safety onsite ⭐️ Live data feedback through works manager allowing them to track progress of the work live Our sister company Blackwood Training is also presenting the Siterite GPS training courses we can provide for operators at our bespoke 6 acre training site here at Stewarton or at our customers sites This is the first open day with Sitech and although it’s early in the day we feel it’s already a success and will be doing this more often throughout our 3 depots in Scotland A big thanks to Brian Core, Liam Payne & team for all their help in setting this up & to our own team at Blackwood Plant Hire Limited
