A visit to Ironbridge got me me thinking today. For those who don’t know Ironbridge in Shropshire is the site of one of the worlds first iron bridges, built at the start of the Industrial Revolution. The mechanisation seen all those years ago saw the introduction of machinery that meant labour intensive jobs and tasks could be completed quicker and easier. The same is true today in most industries, especially Steel, where new advancements mean that manual processes can now be completed quickly and efficiently with the use of increasingly complex equipment. BM Steel and Industrial Metal Services investment in equipment such as HGG Profiling Specialists RPC 1200 Plasma Coping line mean we can offer labour saving fabrication services which enable faster and higher quality manufacturing. The Industrial Revolution may have been hundreds of years in the past but the theory of labour saving and efficiency is as relevant today as they were then!
