We want to celebrate our brilliant e-learning #author 📚 Elizabeth Beetham 🍏. She has published many audio talks with us. Elizabeth talks about our health, how to #stayhealthy and #productive. In this post, she talks about her experience as an author and #nutritionist. Keep reading to find out more: 🏢 🍎What inspired you to transition from the corporate world to holistic health and nutrition? I do not really feel I have moved from the corporate world although my work is now holistic health and coaching the business world is in my genes and of course I am often with business leaders. The decision to do a degree in Nutrition came after working in USA. My husband and I had been working together as Management Consultants – we were “The Beethams!” The American’s loved the fact that we were married. When we came home, we found it difficult to get work together so having always been passionate about health and fitness I decided to retrain. 🖋️ How has your background as a journalist influenced your approach to health coaching? I have been a health journalist since 2005 but prior to that I had authored poems and short stories. My journalistic skills are invaluable and helped me write my own Healthy Living for Life Programme. 🍃 Can you share insights on how small lifestyle changes can lead to significant health improvements? Always remember that with our health we must work every day to make improvements. To consider our health and wellbeing as our most precious asset. People can find it overwhelming to begin a new health regime, so I always suggest just making small changes to begin. Drinking more natural water, fitting some exercise into your everyday life, and eating more fresh fruit and vegetables. Most importantly cutting out or reducing processed food. 🧸 What was the motivation behind your children’s book on nutrition? I have a deep concern that young children are not getting the right nutrition for their needs and the epidemic of childhood obesity horrifies me. Having given talks at schools I felt it would be good to help teach children at an early age to look after their health by making good choices and avoiding too much sugar. My children’s book is not published yet, but I am hoping to find the right publisher next year. 💪 What key lessons did you learn from training alongside figures like Louise Hay and Tony Robbins? Tony Robbins changed my life – I walked on fire twice on his courses and it made me realise that with determination and persistence you can achieve anything. We must take action and be prepared to work hard. Louise Hay also had a profound affect on the way I coach my clients. The mind body connection is an essential element of the work I do and kindness to each other must be an intrinsic part of our lives. E-boek >>> https://lnkd.in/dYi2UW8P
