EXPERTS IN LICENSING FICTIONAL CHARACTERS AND CLIPS IN ADVERTISING We make creative campaign visions possible by securing the licensing required. We work with advertising agencies and their clients when they need licensing of characters, clips and other forms of entertainment intellectual property to make their campaign a true success. Like a talent agency, but for characters and clips. We also represent some of the biggest Rights Holders in entertainment including MGM, Universal, Hasbro, ViacomCBS and more. So, whether it’s a much-loved character that will instantly capture attention or a short clip that adds entertainment value to your campaign, we have the experience, knowledge and relationships to get it done. We are experts in licensing for advertising and marketing, licensing characters and clips from film and television, animation, toys and games, famous icons, Emojis, video games and more. Here's why he made it in the list: Alberto plays a crucial role in the success of Born Licensing and new division Born to License. He is heavily involved with licensed advertising campaigns in the European region, supporting the Born team to ensure they are managed effectively. He is responsible for a lot of areas that allows the Born businesses to keep a high profile, such as content for social media, online channels and PR opportunities.     Each week Born Licensing spotlights one of the characters we represent as licensing agent, and Squidward is our Character of the Week 🦑 Squidward envisions himself a man of the arts, just biding time as a cashier until his big break. But the more time goes by, the more bitter he becomes–about everything. Like work (“Here I am...trapped in a prison of high cholesterol”), his neighbors (“I would rather tear out my brain stem, carry it into the middle of the nearest 4-way intersection and skip rope with it than go on living where I do now”) and life (“Why must every 11 minutes of my life be filled with misery?”).     🎉 Congratulations to our Amber Cheung who has been named in this year's Brands Untapped 100! The Brands Untapped 100 is a celebration of 100 designers, product developers and creatives in the brand licensing industry who have excelled over the last 12 months. Here's why she made it in the list: Amber Cheung plays a critical role throughout the creative development and production of Born Licensing's advertising campaigns, while also managing deals coming from the UK and Asia on the Born to License side of the business. She’s managed the creative development and approval process for some of the biggest IP-driven campaigns of the last few years, including Asda's ‘Have Your Elf a Merry Christmas’ (the most emotionally effective Christmas campaign ever tested by System1). Last year, she also managed a UK campaign for the AA titled ‘It’s OK, I’m With The AA’, which licensed nostalgic arcade game characters Street Fighter. The OOH campaign was executed with impressive digital screens featuring Street Fighter’s signature moves displayed in major UK cities, and was a huge success (including being named ‘Ad of the Day’ by Campaign). #licensing #advertising #brandsuntapped

Here's why he made it in the list: It’s been another impressive year for Born Licensing, David Born and his newly launched business Born to License. 2024 marked Born Licensing’s 10th anniversary while introducing the licensing industry to Born to License, formed to help companies who have never licensed before enter the licensing space. Born to License has already reached its 2024 goal of signing 10 new clients, with exciting companies from the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand spanning across a broad range of categories including FMCG, apparel, housewares, games and jewellery.     Each week Born Licensing spotlights one of the characters we represent as licensing agent, and Bert is our Character of the Week 😃 Bert lives with his best friend and roommate, Ernie, in the basement apartment of 123 Sesame Street. Bert is very serious and enjoys collecting bottle caps, eating oatmeal, and being organised. He has a pet pigeon named Bernice.
