🤔 What we hope to see in the budget tomorrow on retrofit projects... 🤔 Our Chief Operations Officer at Better Green Living, Tom Dodson has shared his thoughts: "Commercial buildings are not being retrofitted at the pace and scale required, putting the achievement of net zero milestones at risk. In order to accelerate this progress, the government needs to consider supporting the financing of energy-efficient retrofit projects. By 2028, all habitable buildings are expected to meet an EPC rating of C or higher, improve energy efficiency, and reduce carbon emissions. plays a crucial role in this goal. As the Autumn budget approaches, it is essential for the Government to prioritise and invest in these initiatives, for example removing VAT on retrofitted buildings, which will not only steer us towards net zero but also enhance the quality of buildings and the experience for those who use them. Meanwhile a potential rumoured increase in National Insurance contributions will increase companies' costs, preventing them from employing skilled workers full-time to fulfill these retrofitting projects. To ensure employees get the full benefits of working as an employee, rather than just as a self-employed sub-contractor, the Government must evaluate increased NI contributions. Removing this cost barrier would ensure Britain can continue to refurbish buildings and employees can be fairly rewarded too." Do you agree? #autumnbudget #studentaccommodation #retrofit #sustainablebusiness

Huge 🙌 to the King's College London's Cross Courage basketball team and New Horizon Youth Centre for an amazing day last week. It was an honour to unveil and hand over two new team kits, one of the standout looks designed by a team player themselves! A big thanks also to two pro players, our very own Henry Wilkins and kit producer and player Jake Eynon of The Minimum Brand who lead a coaching session, with a special visit from Basketball England thrown in for good measure. Outreach is the very heart of what we do, thank you to all our clients, without their contracts, we simply could not commit to incredible projects like these. Let’s keep it going! #CommunityImpact #YouthEmpowerment #KingsCrossCourage #BetterGreenLiving #Outreach #Basketball

At The Better Green Group, we’re backing him to raise funds for a desperately needed collection van to reach more people, in more places. We need Faron and his team more than ever before, and he needs us. Please see the donation link in the comments 💚 #StopKnifeCrime #CommunitySafety #SupportFaronPaul #BetterGreenGroup

🎪 Another awesome activation from Better Green Productions on the 2024 festival circuit! 🎪 We recently collaborated with our longtime partners at Backlash Agency to deliver an incredible summer festival activation for Thayers Facial Tonic, featured at both Boardmasters and All Points East festivals. The objective was to create an immersive, interactive brand experience for festival-goers. Activation Highlights: - Designed a 2.9m tall photo-op structure replicating Thayers’ iconic red bottle cap. - Branded surfboard, barrels, signage, and a spin-the-wheel activity added fun and flair. - Festival attendees snapped memorable photos with themed props and won free Thayers samples! 🚚 Logistics: From transporting the oversized structure to seamless installation using a Moffett forklift, we ensured flawless execution. 📈 Result: The activation drove high engagement, social shares, and brought Thayers directly to consumers in a fun, relaxed festival environment. #EventMarketing #BrandActivation #FestivalExperience #Thayers #BackLashAgency #Boardmasters #AllPointsEast #ExperientialMarketing #EventLogistics
