Sharing the journey! It was so good to catch up with Calum Plowright and Gavin Desborough from Tandem Recruitment Group at this mornings Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce 2025 exhibition at Wicksteed Park. Amazing how both of our business start-up journeys have been so incredibly similar. Continued best wishes to both the guys and to everyone who is on that journey.

Team shout out 📢👏 It was a great privilege and pleasure for myself and Theresa Wright to spend time this week working with the East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service SLT. Mark Matthews David Norris and Hannah Youldon it was great to meet you and the rest of the team. Always exciting to be involved with such an impressive forward thinking team, who embrace the idea of challenge and change, to ensure they are maximising their own effectiveness and efficiency.

Board meeting - farm style!!! 🤓 When the grandchildren visit the office to hold me and Theresa Wright to account 🤗. Some incredibly interesting ideas when youngsters, sweets and sheep are involved! 👦 🍬 🐑

Yesterday we had the honour of getting a tour around Boughey Distribution Ltd‘s incredible facility in Newcastle-under-Lyme by Jon Calvert and Tony Brooker. Graham Ravenscroft and I have been delivering training to the managers and leaders across Boughey (and the wider NWF Group PLC) since the new year so it was great to get a taste of the operation itself. All we can say is what a facility and what a team!! 🤩 🔴 A warehouse floor I’d have been happy to eat my lunch off! 🔵 Incredible facilities for everyone using the site - including drivers who are often overlooked elsewhere. 🔴 Employees who are motivated and enjoy what they do - and who feel safe - physically and psychologically!! (Absolute music to our ears 🎶). 🔵 Employees who describe their managers behind their backs as “leaders not rulers”! 🤩 Well done Boughey Distribution Ltd and team Lymedale 👏🏻 👏🏻

Today I am blowing my own trumpet 🎺 Over the last couple of months, in between delivering training, I have completed a number of accreditations with Strengthscope®, finally becoming a Strengthscope Master™️ last week! 🤩 🙌🏻 “But what is it?” I hear you ask! 🤔 At its foundation, Strengthscope®️ is a strengths based profiling tool (the only one recognised by the British Psychological Society) which uses positive psychology to empower individuals to be their best version. I’m super excited to use the framework to measure and develop both productive team habits and leadership effectiveness as part of our offering at BTP Performance Ltd. Why? Because not only does it provide insight as to the ‘now’ but because it empowers people to tackle any development areas and/or potential performance risks moving forward too! Huge thanks to Cindy Tayama for being an ace facilitator over the last couple of months. And my fellow delegates who also played a key role in my development! 🙏🏻

We bloody love what we do 🤗 Thanks to all of the super-engaged managers and leaders at Boughey Distribution Ltd in Wardle this week (NWF Group PLC) for making all the training days so enjoyable. Some amazing discussions and a whole load of shared learning around managing performance and change.

WOW what a start to 2025 🤗💥 Amazing pleasure and privilege to spend three days in Wardle with over 30 managers and leaders from Boughey Distribution Ltd. Lots of dicussions, learning and laughter with three super groups of highly engaged and passionate M&L’s.
