Exciting news! looking forward new opportunities as part of Causeway Technologies.

We are delighted to announce that Buchanan Computing is now part of Causeway Technologies. With DfT's digital traffic orders (#DTRO) project gathering pace and now in a private beta test phase, it is a great idea for the two leading providers of this data to join forces to provide the only complete solution for both permanent and temporary orders (TROs). We have been working teams that are now part of Causeway from as long as 15 years ago to provide useful integrations between our systems and theirs. In addition to roadworks, safety and collision history, lamp column positions and asset management generally are all data that can usefully be shown on the same screen as TROs in #ParkMap to aid planning and workflow. More recently, the latest version 3.9 of #SignLoad provides structural design information to Causeway's PDS Sign system. This acquisition therefore makes total sense to us and will provide benefits to local authorities and others who use our products and services, all of which will continue with the same staff supporting them. We believe there's a great future ahead for Buchanan within the Causeway family, and we can't wait to get to know the teams better and to start providing the benefits this integration will bring. https://lnkd.in/eJWvBz6J

We're delighted to be launching today the latest versions of #SignPlot and #SignLoad Professional, the UK's leading systems for traffic sign and sign structure design. In both products there are a wealth of new sign support options, including the innovative Ecoposte, supports from Fabrikat, additional aluminium circular supports, the Mallatite Limited Combi TSP post, a selection of commonly-used S235 grade posts and revised channel sections. SignPlot 3.90 has a massive improvement to the method by which complex map-type signs are built, with two new tool buttons. Editing multiple drawings on a page and making large worded signs for car parks have also been enhanced, along with many improvements suggested at the User Groups. These reduce mouse clicks, making the program even slicker, and provide additional outputs.    The new version 3.90 can be downloaded from our website or by checking for updates when the program starts. #TSRGD #TrafficSigns #EN12899

Congratulations to Grid Smarter Cities for the launch of their first two bookable loading bays in Westminster City Council. We have enjoyed collaborating with Grid on this project, with Westminster’s #ParkMap API providing the underlying digital order details into Grid's Kerb platform. It’s a great example of how different technology platforms like ParkMap and Kerb can work together to bring about hashtag #connectedcities.
