Together with The Coca-Cola Company, Colgate-Palmolive, Danone and Unilever, we were thrilled to host the 100+ Accelerator Demo Day in London this week. Since 2018, the 100+ Accelerator has fuelled the growth of 148 companies in 38 countries and it was great to see the outcomes of this. 22 start-ups took to the stage to present the results of their pilots and showcase their incredible innovations. We were delighted to also be joined by so many partners from across government and industry, including Minister for Industry Sarah Jones, who delivered opening remarks at the event. Partnerships are essential for driving sustainability, as no one company can tackle today’s sustainability challenges on its own. To truly lead the brewing industry toward a sustainable future, collaboration and innovation must go hand in hand, making partnerships vital to our shared success. #FutureWithMoreCheers

At the start of this month we welcomed our 4th cohort of Drinks Dispense apprentices to the team. This year we have an additional 5 new apprentices joining us, taking our total apprentices to 21 within the Drinks Dispense function. The apprentices have had their first week of business inductions followed by 2 weeks kick starting the Level 3 Drinks Technician course at City of Wolverhampton College. We’re excited to welcome Billy, Jack, Wyn, Corey and Ralfie to start their careers with us! #FutureWithMoreCheers

We were delighted to welcome Huw Irranca-Davies Llywodraeth Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs and Deputy First Minister, to our Magor brewery this week. During the visit the Minister met with our brewery team, discovered more about how PerfectDraft UK is supporting our sustainability ambitions, and heard about our circular economy and net zero plans. A huge thank you to Huw for taking the time to visit us!

As #WorldWaterWeek took place in Stockholm this week, we are reminded of the importance of water in all that we do. Water is the #1 ingredient in our beer and a shared precious resource. Congrats to the team for pulling another great tasting, good looking and local impact making beer out the bag with one of our industry's biggest names, and shout outs to Fred Nesbitt, Wilfred Neville and the rest of the Camden crew for making it happen with us.
