Funding Opportunity: £30M for Clean Maritime Innovation Innovate UK has launched the Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition Round 6, offering up to £30 million to accelerate the development of cleaner, greener maritime technologies. This funding is open to UK-registered businesses of all sizes, including collaborations with academic institutions, research organisations, and public sector bodies. The competition covers three key areas: 1️⃣ Pre-deployment Trials: Testing innovative on-vessel or infrastructure technologies (up to £2m). 2️⃣ Feasibility Studies: Technical and economic studies for clean maritime tech (up to £1m). 3️⃣ Smart Shipping: Supporting digital technologies to reduce emissions and improve air quality (up to £2m).
