January is often associated with resolutions and new beginnings, So, as we stand on the threshold of a new year, I'm embarking on a journey that goes beyond the typical resolutions - a journey that involves embracing the chill of winter waves for a good cause. I am taking on the "Brave the Wave" challenge for January in support our MYTIME, who are the nominated charity for Calcinotto this year. The Challenge: Dip into the Sea Every Day in January. The aim is simple but powerful: Get in the sea, or any other cold water source, every day throughout January. While the idea may sound straightforward, the reality may be much more challenging! 😉 Why Young Carers? Young carers undertake an immense responsibility, dedicating their time and energy to care for their loved ones around the clock. Balancing caregiving duties with school, college, university, or work is a part of their everyday life. Unfortunately, this can lead to disadvantages. MYTIME Young Carers, believe that this is neither right nor fair. Hence I am making a splash in January to show my support for these incredible young people.
