📈 AI innovation is driving a digital surgery push that promises significant business growth and enduring market leadership. The question is, who will be first to seize the big prize? We believe success can be found in a Human-machine understanding (HMU) approach which will dramatically reduce variability of surgical outcomes and will have huge benefits for surgeons, healthcare professionals and of course patients. Our head of HMU, Ali Shafti takes a deeper look into this fascinating innovative technology and how human-machine understanding will allow us to tackle variability of outcomes. We believe we will see technology working alongside surgical teams to provide the right support at the right time and in the right way. This will open the way to a next-generation digital surgery platform that surgeons and their teams like to use, trust, and depend on. 👉 Read the full article here to gain exclusive insights and contact us to find out more about how CC support you with HMU within your industry: https://hubs.li/Q02Q4S3_0 #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #Surgery #DeepTech #DigitalSurgery #Healthcare #HMU #Technology #HumanAICollaboration #HumanRobotCollaboration

The challenge of bringing new innovation to patient care is tough. Innovation is slow in an environment of tight regulation and requires extensive support to achieve real clinical and commercial impact. To overcome this, The London Institute for Healthcare Engineering (LIHE) has launched its inaugural MedTech Venture Builder programme, funded by Research England. 12 med tech companies have been selected to take part in the year long programme, and Cambridge Consultants is pleased to be a strategic collaborator on the programme. In the words of CC’s Riccardo Secoli, “I found it truly inspiring to participate in the launch day of the Venture Builder programme and witness the incredible innovation and energy from all the new businesses.
